President Nasheed asks German MPs to join MDP

President Mohamed Nasheed has asked a visiting delegation of German MPs to join MDP to obtain majority for MDP in the parliament.

The President also asked Male Mayor Sarangu Adam Manik and successful entrepreneur Lolly Abdulla Jabir to give a white BMW to each German MP who joins MDP.



"Bayerische Motoren Werke AG or BMW is a rare thing in Germany. So we are confident that many German MPs will accept our offer," said Mohamed Zuhair, the press secretary at President's Office.
