އެމްޑީޕީގެ ރައީސް އަދި ދިވެހިރާއްޖޭގެ މުސްތަޤުބަލުގެ ރައީސް ޑރ. މުނައްވަރު މިނިވަން ދުވަހުގެ މުނާސަބަތުގައި ދިވެހި އެންމެހާ ލޮބުވެތި ރައްޔިތުންނަށް ހެޔޮއެދުންތައް ފޮނުއްވައިފިއެވެ. އެމަނިކުފާނުގެ މިނިވަންދުވަހުގެ ޚިތާބު ވިދާޅުވެދެއްވީ އަލްފްރެސްކޯގައި ހުންނަވައިގެން ޑރ. މުނައްވަރުގެ ސެކެޓްރީ އަދި އެމްޑީޕީގެ ކުޑަ ހެންވޭރު ގޮފީގެ ރައީސް ޢައްބާސް ޢާދިލް ރިޒާ އެވެ. މިޚިތާބުގައި މިވަގުތު ޑރ. މުނައްވަރު ވަރަށް އަވަދި ނެތި އުޅުއްވާތީ ޢާއްމު ރައްޔިތުން ތެރެއަށް ނިކުމެ ވަޑައިނުގެންނެވުނު ނަމަވެސް އޭނާ 24 ގަޑިއިރު މަސައްކަތް ކުރައްވަނީ ރައްޔިތުންނަށް ފާގަތި މުސްތަޤުބަލެއް ހޯއްދަވައި ދެއްވުމަށް ކަމަށާއި އެމްޑީޕީގެ މެންބަރުން އޭނާ ޕާޓީގެ ރައީސް ކަމަށް ހޮއްވަވާފައި ވަނީ ވަރަށް ބޮޑު އިތުބާރަކާއި އެކުގައި ކަމަށް ވާތީ ޕާޓީގެ ރައީސްކަމުން އިސްތިޢުފާ ނުދެއްވާ ޤައުމީ ޚިދުމަތުގައި ދެމިހުންނަވާނެ ކަމުގެ ޔަޤީންކަން ވެސް ދެއްވިއެވެ.
The President of MDP and the future President of Maldives Dr Munavvar has extended warm felicitations to the beloved people of Maldives on the occasion of Independence Day. In a statement Dr Munavvar assured the people that he will always be at their service, sincerely.

this sounds vague and double sided. had Dr munavvar had a will to serve the people he would not have gone out of MDP in a degraded way. now staying behind the scene and saying is like Maumoon destroying the nation and telling that he is changing and improving.
