Dr Munavvar should get cabinet post under the new government. He is more experienced than others who are competing. Dr Munavvar became member of Maumoon's cabinet in November 1993 when he was appointed as Attorney General. He got ten years of experience in cabinet as Attorney General. He got elected to people's majlis in 1994. He got elected again in 1999 and was in the seat till 2004. So he got ten years of experience as majlis member too. So a person with high level of political experience like Dr Munavvar is rare to find.
1. Dr Shaheed has got only two years of experience in cabinet. He was appointed foreign minister in 2005 and he resigned in 2007. His experience in foreign ministry was mostly with his girlfriend Shazra and listening to old Bob Dylan songs.
2. Dr Shaugee aslo has about five years of experience in cabinet. First as education minister and then as tourism minister. His experience in tourism ministry is mostly taking bribes from Aitken Spence and other resort owners. This is not a story made by us. This is verified by DO Editor Sappe, the most authentic source of news about Maldives. Sappe will personally arrive in Maldives on November 8 to verify this story. He has already done the flight booking.
3. Dr Hassan Saeed has only four years of experience as Attorney General beginning from November 2003. His experience is mostly charging political activists.
4. Dhiyana Saeed has no experience at all. She was promoted up to eight levels in ranking by Dr Hassan Saeed because she was active member of DRP.
5. Lolly Jabir has 5 years of experience in Majlis but no experience in cabinet. But he has experience of fooling foreign investors and not paying staff salary.
6. Adil Saleem has got experience of corruption in MIFCO. He is expert of home-made porn.
7. ADK Nashid was smuggler when he was seaman before he became respected member of society.
So Dr Munavvar is better than them. Anni and Dr Waheed is good. But Anni, Dr Waheed and Dr Munavvar is better. (Anni, Dr Waheed ragalheve. Anni, Dr Waheed, Dr Munavvar adhi maa ragalheve.)

your comparisons of Munavvar makes no sense. You want me to believe that Munavvar is better than Shaugy, and for that reason Munavvar should be on the cabinet? Why don't you also compare Munavvar to Azima Shakoor, he will win with ease.

Dr Munnavar is a "defuhkeheri", if he's in the cabinet, then it may be the ultimate downfall of president-elect Nasheed, When Munnavar was campaigning for MDP presidential campaign he had a campaignoffice near the 'viyafaariveringe miskith', which was in a corner of a block, its having DRP Maumoons campaign posters plastered all over it NOW. Thus, this election he was on Maumoon's payroll. As a citizen who voted for Anni, I like to request not to give any post to Munnavar. Hope this msg is passed onto Anni.

and one more thing. Why are you all so against Dr Munavvar? Why are you saying he is Dhefukeheri. Dr Shaheed, Dr Shaugee and Dr Hassan Saeed are all corrupt dhefukeheri too. They are worse than Dr Munavvar. Why are you so eager to prevent Dr Munavvar from getting a cabinet post in new government?

yes. you are right! I don't see any difference between dr. hassan saeed, dr. shaeed, dr. shaugee, dr. raazee and dr. firudaus. They are all doctors. and Munavaru is no more dhefukeheri than hassan saeed.

Munnavar is capable guy but he has unjustly punished a lot of innocent people. As a citizen I just dont want people in the cabinet of Anni at a time when we are seeking change. Maldives current Govnt cabinet should as much be free from corruption and it goes out for those who have had that label in the past else we will be seeing same Maumoonist thinking in the Govnt. He was kicked out of Maumoon Govnt and even couldn't keep faith in MDP.
I conclude my stand in seeking that H.E Pres-elect Anni should distance from Munnavar altogether.
You are jealous of Dr Munavvar. because he is better than anybody else Anni can bring to the cabinet. This is not time to put jealousy first. Put the nation first and give capable people like Dr Munavvar the opportunities they deserve.
Munawar should BE On cabinet. i DEMAND he be in cabinet. BECOZ he looks v.stately.
I will suggest two other people who have more experience than Munawwar and ought to be given a slot in the cabinet. They are Robert Mugabe and Fidel Castro. If Munawwar "should" get a post, every Maldivian "should" get a post in the cabinet.

There is no use of such an experience if it is not used with sincerity thus it would 'cause trouble.If he is a person of that caliber and intellect he will not be in that position today.Now we have to rate him a total failure.
